AUGUST 2026 – NEW OPALS ON SALE AND REOPENING OF THE ONLINE STORE
After its summer break in July, the Opal Saga Geneva online store is now open again. To mark the occasion, 70 new Australian opals have been added to the online collection, including 42 boulder opals and 28 opals from the Lightning Ridge area (opals black, dark, crystal and semi-crystal).
This online listing allows us to replenish our supply of top-quality opals, many of which had already been sold in recent months. As always, each stone is presented with photographs, a video with French commentary, and detailed information to help you fully understand its characteristics.

MAY 2026 – GIFT BOXES FOR BUSINESSES AND OTHER NEWS
The beginning of 2026 was marked by sales primarily focused on my top-quality Australian opals, particularly the boulder opalsA huge thank you for your trust and purchases. As the current selection has been reduced following these sales, several new opals will be added to the online catalog by the end of August at the latest, in order to once again offer a wider selection of premium opals.
A new offer aimed at businesses Opal Saga Geneva is also now available. Custom gift boxes can now be offered for group gifts for staff (for example, during the holiday season) or for personalized tokens of appreciation for clients and partners. Each project can be tailored to specific needs and budgets, using carefully selected Australian opals.
Finally a simplified payment solution via TWINT A new feature has been added. Customers wishing to make a purchase without using a credit card or PayPal can now fill out a form with their purchase requirements. An invoice will then be sent to enable payment via TWINT.
MARCH 2026 – FIRST EDUCATIONAL VIDEO
I'm happy to share with you my first educational video dedicated to Australian opals. In this video, I'll show you how they form, their great diversity, and the basics of their classification. The goal is to help you better understand what makes each opal unique. Link to the video (in French).
The video is quite comprehensive and therefore relatively long, but it's structured into chapters so you can directly access the sections that interest you (for example, boulder opals). Your feedback is welcome; it will help me improve future videos!
JANUARY 2026 – HEADING TOWARDS 2026
After a superb year 2025, marked by the enrichment of my personal collection and by an ever-wider selection on the online store, I wish to continue to offer you Australian opals of different qualities, adapted to various budgets.
In parallel, I would like to start developing educational videos in French on my youtube channelNoting the lack of content specifically dedicated to Australian opals, the objective would be, in particular, to explain how Australian opals are classified into different categories, and what the many factors are that influence their price.
Finally, regarding the stones offered for sale, I would like to expand the range by including specimens, such as large pieces of boulder opal that can be used as ornamental objects as well as opalized fossils, obviously 100% Australian.
DECEMBER 2025 – A LOOK BACK AT THE YEAR 2025
The year 2025 was marked by the possibility of finding quality opals at still reasonable prices, in sufficient quantities to supply both the online shop and my personal collection.
On the technical side, the website's translation into German, English, and Italian has been improved. Unfortunately, after several attempts, integrating payment via TWINT was not possible. From my perspective, this remains a negative point for the year. Conversely, the Instagram page has seen a marked improvement, with particular attention paid to visual presentation and the introduction of greater graphic consistency.
In terms of sales, 2025 was the best year since the launch of Opal Saga Geneva. A huge THANK YOU for your trust, positive feedback, and numerous interactions.
AUGUST 2025
Since the creation of Opal Saga Geneva in 2021, and in a context where the prices of quality Australian opals have risen sharply in recent years, I have been fortunate enough to acquire several very high-quality opals, in quantity and at attractive prices. These acquisitions have allowed me to both enrich my personal collection and stock the online shop. Among the stones acquired are opals dark, black, Cristal et boulder, some of which feature the most sought-after color: red.
On the website, a major update has taken place, with over 150 opals now available for purchase. To improve buyers' understanding of the stones offered, new videos with French commentary have been produced. Subtitles in other languages can also be activated. These comments aim to help visitors better understand the specific characteristics of each opal, as well as its suitability for jewelry making.
In addition, extra visual cues have been added to the photos of each stone for sale, in addition to the dimensions provided. These elements allow for a better visual representation of the opals' actual size.
